MilkBoy Philly is a 21+ bar, restaurant & venue (with valid ID!). Anyone under the age of 21 is permitted only if they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of their stay at MilkBoy. Parents must remain with their children at all times & underage persons are not permitted near either of our bar areas.
MilkBoy is not a seated venue, and the venue is located on the 2nd floor. There is no elevator access to the 2nd floor, and concertgoers must be able to walk up a flight of stairs to access MilkBoy shows. Chairs are available upon request. Of course! There is almost never a cover to hang out downstairs.
There are parking lots and a garage nearby on Sansom street, or metered street parking.
Cameras without detachable lenses are permitted- so take ‘em, post ‘em, and tag us @milkboyphilly! Those who wish to take professional photos must receive permission from the band/artist or venue.

Our rates are low and our hospitality is generous and fun. We will give you the complete run-down in person, you’ll see that hosting your event at MilkBoy will give your guests something to talk about all year long.

We do this the old fashioned way. If you’d like to join our family we prefer if you bring your resume in person and ask one of our staff if we’re hiring and they’ll point you in the right direction.
The meat and produce used in our kitchens are largely sourced from local outlets, and much of it is organic. We’ve got a variety of menu options to satisfy everyone, including many vegan items. View our menu here.

Our box office located upstairs will scan or lookup your ticket through our ticketing platform to verify your purchase.
MilkBoy started as a recording studio in north Philly in 1994. Since then we’ve opened two coffee shops and our downtown bar, restaurant and music-venue. This location includes our 200 capacity upstairs venue, and downstairs bar/restaurant offering Philly faves such as the MilkBoy Burger and Espresso Martini. The recording studio is located in Philadelphia, PA, at 413 N 7th Street.
